HISTORIC 40Ft. KETCH "NATOONDA" boat only $5,000.00 Boat & motor $10,500.00 Timber construction New Zealand Kauri. Beach decks. 16 Bronze port holes.The boat is at OYSTER COVE on Port Stephens. Restoration partly complete needs more work. Ideal for retired shipwright or boat builder. Re-conditioned 70hp. 4LW Gardner diesel motor, 12V and 24V alternators, 2-1 Paragon hydraulic gear box. 2 new stainless steel fuel tanks. Back mast restored, Front mast to be restored, Bow sprit restored, Set old sails (condition unknown), Antique anchor winch, Anchor re galvanized. Length 40ft. Height 12ft. (keel to top of cabin) Beam 11.5ft. Draft 4.6ft. Weight about 7 tonnes. Front cabin inside. 2.7m long, 1.8m wide & high Centre cabin inside. 1.8m long, 2.3m wide, 2.2m high. Rear cabin inside. 2.8m long, 2.3m wide, 1.7m high. Restore this historic ketch that was built on the Brisbane River before the 2nd. World war and was used by the defence department in the 2nd.
