Burland Cabin Cruiser 27ftSpecifications: Constructed in 197027ft X 6ft 10in4 BerthFibreglass Inboard, Ford Escort, Diesel Engine30 BhpEberspacher Diesel heating system Cassette toilet Full Safety certificate Expires - Oct 2020 Currently Moored at a Marina in Chester - Fees paid until end of Dec (mooring available if you wished to stay) Licencing £555.00 Per Year I had bought this to spend time away with my family but knew there would be some work to do on it before I was happy. After problems getting it back from Leeds to Chester, the full extent of what I had let myself in for had shown it self. I have repaired/ replaced the following: New alternator 4 new Injectors 4 Glow Plugs Gear linkage cable1 battery Impeller Due to lack of boat/motor repair knowledge and time I have now lost interest. There is still work to be done so would be better for someone in the know about boats. I believe the following is required:Engine - Engine runs but slight smoking from exhaust (maybe due to the cold water cooling system Slack in the steering, needs looking atNew Canopy (I have been quoted £500 by a company in Wallasey Wirral, Number can be supplied with purchase)Back deck needs some refitting (had to remove some of the fibre glass seating to get to the engine as the previous owner boxed it in.)Electrics need looking at to have everything working at once. (inside the cabin)Larger start-up battery. Paint work/Varnish could do with a refresh. Upholstery refreshing No Cooker (Previous cooker removed as unsafe, was going to replace once engine sorted)Shower plumbed in but not sure if worksPerspex on bedroom and windshield needs replacing.Aside from the problems, we have had a lot of nice weekends on the boat. Albeit, we where stuck in the marina but it is a comfortable stay. If your over 5'10" you may have to duck slightly. I hope that the work required doesn't put any one off as she is a lovely boat and we are sad to let her go. Originally Paid £5250.00 11 months ago and a lot paid out in repairs. I appreciate it does require further work and not expecting to get the full amount I paid back. I have been as honest as I can about the work required. Any futher questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please remember you are bidding to buy not just to view. No Time wasters.Happy Bidding!
