The Windrider is a tri-hull sailing vessel. It is designed for solo sailing or use by one adult and one youth.The center hull is very much like a sit-on kayak hull. It is stabilized by two removable pontoons that are attached to the main hull with two aluminum tubes that are designed to be quickly and easily attached.The boat is light and can be transported via car top or in the bed of a pickup truck. The mast inserts into a recess in the hull. The sail is controlled by a single sheet. The tip-up rudder is controlled by foot pedals on each side of the cockpit. It is fast and fun to sail solo, or it can be used to teach a youngster to sail.These boats are no longer available—they were pricey when new. This a little-used vessel that is in good shape. Its yellow color is sun faded.There is the possibility of delivery of this boat for a reasonable fee along the I-95 or I-81/I-77 corridor between New York and Florida as I will be traveling in early November to my winter site in Florida.Please call with any questions on the boat and we can discuss delivery price and details.
