SEAMASTER CUB PROJECT BOAT
Estimated price for orientation: 25 $
Category: Power Boats
Class:
Description Type: Cruiser (Power) Beam (Feet): 6ft 6ins Length (Feet): 17ft 6ins Trailer: Not Included
This is an opportunity to refurbish an ex broads hire boat.It is based on the ever popular Seamaster Cub that was noted for its sturdy and long lasting construction. It is about 17ft 6ins long and has a beam of about 6ft 6ins.The inboard engine has been removed but it has a large outboard well instead so an outboard would be hidden from view.It has a steering position forward under the cabin and the steering cable is in working order. It does not need a great deal of work to return it to a heavy duty day boat with a large undercover/seating area as required. It wants a new plywood floor but the bearers are level and sound. The opening in the roof was originally made from a fabric with batten inserts. This wants sorting.A small area of fibreglass has been damaged where the cuddy joins the side of the boat - see pictures. The sturdy outboard well area has a basic finish and needs tidying with either, seats or locker lids and you would need to replace the plywood were the steering arm is fixed. The hull is extremely well protected by heavy duty rubber fendering so it would make an ideal work boat or day trip boat. The windows are all good and the large front window is particularly nice and clear.NO TRAILER, NO ENGINE, Come and have a look. PE15Can assist with loading on to your trailer.
