For sale on behalf of 24th Swansea Sea Scouts. A registered charity and all proceeds will go directly to them. For sale is a boat that was donated to us but that we are unable to use due to training and permit restrictions. We know very little about this boat and we must advise that viewing is essential as the boat has been stored for some time and we can only list it as spares or repair due to having little or no knowledge about it. I will try and answer any questions that you have though. When the boat was donated, it also came with the small boat on the roof. We have not used this and we don’t know what it is used for, but appears to be a sort stubby fibreglass Canadian style canoe. This is included in this sale. On the trailer is also a mast rigging system, but I could not tell you whether it is complete or not. The boat itself is about 25 foot long. The hull seems solid, with no leaks. Water is pooling in the stern foot well, but that is separate to the interior compartments which all seem dry. It has various seat cushions inside, and seating for 4 I would guess. The hull itself has various dents and scratches, but I can’t see anything major like cracks or holes. All the windows are intact. The boat uses an outboard engine and sail(i think) but there is NO engine of any description included in this sale. It comes with the trailer shown in the pictures. The trailer itself seems in good condition, but again, I would suggest viewing this before you bid. Though with a bit more air in the tires, I see no reason why it can’t be driven away. The boat is based in Swansea not far from singleton hospital, but it is stored in a secure compound so if you do wish to view, it must be by appointment. Please text or call me on 07800873095.
