Project boat - "Chianti Lady"We have had some wonderful times and experiences on Chianti Lady. Unfortunately, she now needs too much work doing and, we don't have the time or know-how. Therefore, we are offering her as a project boat needing complete renovation inside and out.She is good mechanically, with an inboard motor. Current boat safety certificate until September 2018. Licensed until 31st December 2016. Working hob and hot/cold water. Canvas cover in reasonable condition.Currently moored at South Stoke on River Thames - sale will not include mooring.The following work would need undertaking to bring her back to full potential:External repairs and repaintFull 12V electrics overhaul (has never been right)Carpentry in front cabin and galleyMost of tiles around sink and hob in galley fell off and area needs renovating with more suitable materials.Toilet area needs stripping back and recladding, an opportunity to also fit a toilet.Remove windows and resealWindscreen cracked but usableFuel gauge not workingSome cushions missing - would look much better with complete re-upholsteryNew curtainsCarpets could probably do with replacingIf we don't get a sensible offer, we will be putting her into a boatyard for most of this work and selling for £7K+ Therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take her off our hands now to complete this work themselves.Buyer would need to take away within 7/10 days
