RUBY is a 33ft Harborough marine cruiser stern
narrowboat built in 1968.
4 births consisting of: 1x cross double converting from a 4 seater dinette to the rear & 2x permanent bunks both around 7ft long in the front, the porti-a-loo cabin separates the front & back to one side.
Powered by Lister SR2 Diesel via a Lister LH150 Gearbox with morse control.
She had a bottom replate around 2001 & new cabin sides & windows some years after this.
BSS Safety Certificate is to June 2017
Electrical system is consists of 1x starter battery & 2X (new) domestic batteries in a
split charge arrangement.
Ruby is at present in a bit of a sorry state as she been neglected for the last coupe of years due to family issues,but she is still in working order.
She does need a Hull black, top side repaint & repairs to the external locker hinges
& the inevitable rust control.
I am looking for a quick sale and I believe you will see this in my asking price.
Also includes: Electric water pump to S/S Sink, Single burner cooker, 12v microwave, electric cool box, TV, disc player, build in Amp, bilge pumps, internal lighting, Tunnel light, Ropes poles, plank, spares, etc.
Ruby is at her home mooring which is a BW marinas Ltd site on the southern GUC between Berkhamstead & Tring, Herts, with a bus connection to both just outsde & a pub across the road. I believe that it will be possible for the present mooring to be transferred if required but that would be between the new owner & BWML.
We have found that due to Ruby's size License & mooring fees are more manageable.
