Thanks for looking.The Scoresby:- The Scoresby is the lineal descendant of the Viking long ships and of the Yorkshire Coble which were built for commercial inshore fisherman on the North East coast. They were designed to provide  unrivalled  seaworthiness and strenght for a vessel of its size, and combining these qualities with handsome, characterful and practical appearance. The well- balanced  lines of the hull have a fine deeply flared bow, which makes it a outstandingly dry craft. Its fine entry and moderate deadrise levelling out gives exceptional grip, which enables it to be easily driven through difficult seas. Its generous beam gives plenty of space and security. There are absolutely lots of lockers. Construction:- 1" Mahogany on grown and sawn oak frames. Timbers 1.25" steamed oak. Keel, Stem, Deck beams, Bilge keel all oak. Galvanised 3/4" keel bolts (Drawn 1999) Cabin and wheelhouse roof 2" ply cascover sheathed. Decks 1/2'' and 1'' teak.Transmission:- Ford 6 cylinder naturally aspirated marine diesel by C power new 2002, very economical at 1.25 gal at 7 knots.  Cruising 6.5/7 k max 10 k. 2 fuel tanks under floor of wheelhouse port and stb, capacity 300 gal. Duel pre-filter system one in use one on standby. Inline magnetic bug contamination eliminater unit in common line from tanks  Engine (new2002) is mounted in reverse driving into a ENV VEE drive from  a Borg Warner Velvet drive then via shaft to conventional 3 bladed bronze prop. Engine very easy to access by lifting cockpit floor panels.Also:- Toilet is on Stb. Side with Jabasco manual pump. Toilet also converts to shower utilising a portable system showering from a Mira mixing head and shower head with waste  being discharged overboard via a jabasco bilge pump utilising a two way valve. Sleeping accomodation is for 6 with 2 in forward cabin in 2 singles or a double utilising infill cushions, 3 in main cabin with table down and infill cushions  as a big double.
