I am not, however, interested in brokers or offers to help me sell this, so, don’t contact me, if that’s your intent.  Beneteau 373 features The Beneteau 373 was voted “2004 Cruising World Boat of the Year”.  Designed by Berret/Racoupeau, this vessel offers a bright and spacious cabin with ample headroom.  As well as unprecedented amount of opening ports and hatches providing bright light and fantastic air flow.  Her comfortable cockpit has a patented innovative pivoting steering wheel making it easy to walk past the helm to the companionway.   This vessel is a storm damaged vessel that has been rebuilt to original factory specifications.  The boat is located in Chicago and sank during a storm in the fall of 2015. The boat was completely submerged in fresh water. Vessel can be inspected immediately, haul out and inspection can be arranged.  The vessel is currently in the water ready for a test sail.  Storage fees are negotiable and a cradle is included with the sale. Fiberglass Hull The hull suffered extensive damage and the boat was totally submerged. The hull has been completely repaired using West Systems epoxy and fiberglass. It was filled and faired then gel coated to match the original finish. The nonskid decking was seriously damaged in several areas but has been repaired with a matching pattern.  Port toe rail was replaced Stern rub rail was replaced Rigging The standing rigging has all been replaced with custom rigging to accommodate the longer mast.  The mast has been replaced with a used 52’ US Spars mast with in mast Furler for the mainsail.  This makes the rig approximately 8 feet taller than the original. The boom has been replaced with a used Selden boom similar to the original.  Port lifelines and stanchions have been replaced and bow rail was repaired. All running rigging has been replaced.  Sails  Brand new in mast roller furling main, custom made by UK sailmaker No Jib included Engine After vessel sank in fresh water,the Engine was removed then preserved with oil and servicedAll wire braids and electrical panel was replaced for engine.  27 HP Inboard Diesel Yanmar 3GM30F Professionally Rebuilt alternator Professionally Rebuilt Starter Folding three blade propeller   Interior finishings Several Interior wood finishings have been revarnished and there may be minor missing hardware. Raymarine instruments that have not been tested Working VHF marine Radio New bluetooth stereo with speakers Wiring is functional but all systems have not been tested.  Propane system including the oven and stove have not been repaired or tested. 3 bank 20 amp Xantrex battery charger has not been tested 2 group 27 deep cycle batteries that function but have not been replaced since vessel was submerged. Separate refrigerator and freezer that have not been tested or repaired. Fresh water system and water heater have not been tested or repaired.
