I'm selling my Tucker T31with an amazing starting price of £999.  I started to renovate her 4 years ago and spent almost £5,000 during the process. She has a full renovated Bukh DV20 marine diesel engine (which was done by Sunderland Diesel in 2015). The engine, including renovation, cost over £1,000 by itself. The majority of the woodwork has been complete, it just needs a few of the fittings tidying up and putting back, as well as a touch of paint, as it's started to peel in places. (I made the mistake of painting all the exposed woodwork, and it turns out that some of it may have been oiled in the past rather than varnished!) She's made of marine ply with a fibreglass skin, so is very solid.I lived on board her last year and she is very comfortable, having 2 cabins (aft and mid-ship) and a good galley and head. She has good headroom in the galley area, which is well over 6'. She has a very large chart table and navigation area. The beds in the main cabin partially fold to give a reasonable amount of floor space to get past (at least in comparison to how it was before they folded). I'll also leave the poles to rig up bunks, which will make her into a 6 berth.I'm going to strip some of the new items off the boat. This includes the fittings in the galley (cooker, fridge, water pump, etc), some of the rigging, fenders, the pair of brand new batteries, etc, but the majority of what's there will be left for the purchaser, including the sails. The purchaser will be able to tow or motor her to sea, but she'll need some of the rigging replacing if you intend to sail her. (Or if you're willing to buy it separately, otherwise it will be going on my new, smaller boat.)If you'd prefer to take her by low-loader, she's book to be lifted out on the 22nd October 2016.(Please note: you will have to collect - I don't know why the it says that it can be posted, even though I've ticked the 'buyer must collect option'!) She is an exceptional bilge keel yacht, but unfortunately too large to sail without a minimum crew of 3, although you should be able to sail her with 2 off pontoon moorings. Unfortunately she's berthed on fore and aft moorings which is difficult with 2. She's approx. 5 tonnes in weight, which means that she's less likely to be tossed about when it starts to get choppy, but it does make it difficult to use the sails in light winds. Again the extra weight makes her ideal as a live-aboard, because she's very stable.She still needs a bit of work, but it's almost all cosmetic. She sails fairly well, and I've really enjoyed sailing her - it's just that she's too big to get off the moorings easily with just my wife and myself.Revised : 8th Oct
I forgot to mention that the majority of the dashboard dials have not been connected. They are all there (and brand new) but need wiring up. The senders are also brand new.

4)  view of the back. The rudder has an emergency shackle hole, so if the steering fails she can still be steered by pulley rope

6)  A0 chart table, with map cupboard underneath. Underneath that is a tool cupboard and underneath that the battery compartment. The manual bilge pump is shown. There's also an automatic 750 GPH bilge pump which is connected to the permanent live on the battery. The engine electrics and others are on 2 separate isolation switches.

10) access to aft cabin. The step (covered with green anti-slip) lifts off and gives access to the fender lockers.
11) aft cabin. The cabin was originally lined with melamine with a layer of polystyrene as insulation. The polystyrene looked a bit past it, so I took it out. (The main cabin now has an layer of expanding foam to help with insulation. I never got round to doing that and putting the melamine back in the aft cabin - the melamine can be seen propped up, to the right of the picture.) The wet exhaust system is also shown.

I've also got the original BUKH engine. If the purchaser wants that (and is willing to collect it from near Wearhead, Co.Durham) then they can have it as well. The fuel pump has a scored cylinder, which was why it wouldn't run, but I've been told the rest is fine. I've kept the engine just in case I needed spares for any reason.Important:
If you want the mast leaving up, then I need to know before 8:30am on Sunday 16th - as this is when it is having it removed, ready for transport or winter storage.
