As the name suggests the Teal was originally built as an inshore fishing boat. It had an inboard engine and a very strong clinker style hull, 22ft in length. Because of it's original design as a fishing boat it has a large area astern which now makes for a spacious seating area for socialising, easily accommodating six people. The seating area is covered by a canopy which was made by Marine & Industrial covers at Burton Waters and installed in 2012.The forward area has ample room to sleep two and has a Portaloo, sink, small portable gas cooker and loads of storage space. The curtains are new.
All the floors have been renewed with 18mm marine ply.
The boat is driven by a Mariner 15hp 2 stroke outboard. This is very reliable and economical - it only uses about one and a half litres of fuel per hour. It has been regularly and extensively maintained by Lincolnshire Marine Services of East Bridgeford. The outboard has an electric start and continually charges the battery.The boat has a BSS (boat safety certificate) valid until April 2018, River Licence valid until the end of October and a mooring on Lincoln Brayford Pool paid for until next Spring.
The boat has an SBS twin axle trailer bought new in 2013 at a cost of just over £3000. It is an extremely well built trailer and has a lifetime structural warranty. I am willing to sell the boat without the trailer but not the trailer without the boat.
All fenders, ropes and anchor will be supplied with the boat.
