Specification:A lovely fully fitted original Dutch Tjalk, currently moored in Hampton Court, London, ready to embark on a new journey with her new owner. The boat is coming without a home mooring but is canal going and is perfect for continuous cruising or as a floating home. The hull is built of steel, in circa 1930's. She was designed for cruising and was refurbished by us to be a warm eco-sustainable home ready for you to move in straight away. The vessel has not been named as yet, therefore you have the privilege of naming it yourself. She has just had the exterior fully repainted, the bottom of the hull was replated in Holland in March 2015 in a proportion of 80% and while lifted out of the water it has also been anti-fouled and new anodes have been installed. She has fully standing space everywhere inside unlike the majority of tjaks but is 2m high in the back and all over the living space and goes down to 1.7m in the bedroom . This vessel has one double bedroom in the front. Next to it is a small bathroom containing a portapotti toilet, shower and washbasin. The rear part of the boat consists of a large salon with an open plan kitchen. In the salon you have a corner sofa which converts in a double bed making a cosy space for very your guests who would like to spend an unforgettable night with you. The salon is opening into a big foredeck easily hosting upto 10 people ideal to enjoy the warm summer days. The foredeck is the place where the wheel and controls are based. The foredeck is coming with a canopy that can be used in the rainy season. The tjalk is fitted with hydraulic steering which makes her very easy to handle. Also she has a Mercedes 100hp engine and I would say that this engine is the most beautiful working engine I ever had on any of my boats. She can do a smooth 10 knots that will make you love it more and more each moment. It is a dream to sail, steer and moor this boat. We will fully service the engine for you before pick-up, so you will only enjoy the pleasure of using it straight away without any stress.
