Antique 1949 Mahogany Wood Correct Craft 18Ft Boat and Trailer NO RESERVE Subtitle: Grey Marine Straight 6 112HP Engine You are bidding on a 1949 18Ft mahogany Correct Craft boat, motor , and trailer that has been donated to a children's charity. The boat is complete and still in very good condition for its age, but needs to be restored. It has been in dry storage for over 20 years. All of the hardware has been removed and is in plastic bags and still in nice condition. It includes the windshield mounting brackets, spotlights, bow light, flag holder, lots of cleats, and 4 steps that say Correct Craft on them. The seats are in the boat and look to be in usable condition, but probably need to be restored. We do not know a lot of history about the boat, but it has a 1966 Pennsylvania license plate on the trailer. It does have a 112HP 6 cylinder Grey Marine engine that looks good, but we have not tried to start it. But it is free and turns over with the hand crank that comes with the boat. The trailer is homemade from a front axle of a 1940s Chevrolet with bar joist frame. The boat gets a lot of attention, so does the trailer because we have never seen one like it. It has 16" tires on it, and the boat and trailer should probably be loaded on another trailer to transport. It is located in Kansas City, Ks and will need to be picked up there. Zip code: 66106. If you do not want to pick it up, the best way to move it would probably be thru UShip.com. We are starting the bidding at $500.00 and will sell to the highest bidder at the end of 7 days. You can pay for the boat when you pick it up as long as it is within 7 days, but a $300.00 deposit is due within 48 hours after the end of the auction. Call-816-616-2904.
