Sealine 285 Ambassador 1986 Welcome to my auction for this project we began 2 years ago! But life takes over and unfortunately we just don't have the time to put in to this. So she has to go to someone who will have time to refurb her. She is named "AMADEUS" and spent her finest days in France before being sold into Guernsey where she came to be in the state she is! unloved for a while on her mooring in Guernsey harbour the bellows split on the outdrives and she partially sank on the mooring. She was recovered within 24hrs and craned out into a boatyard and drained and cleaned. One of the two Volvo penta engines is totally knackered and was started to be stripped but a bit too late. the other engine was flushed and re commissioned, however hasn't been run since so will need attention no doubt. the two outdrives turn freely on the props. port side prop is badly corroded but I have a new prop for it. The inside ..... this is a very well laid out boat, however we have taken all the upholstered panels out and kept them for patterns, I have 2 BIG rolls of very expensive material direct from the sealine factory so theres more than enough to re do the whole boats upholstery.Make no mistake this boat needs some dedication and money to restore but will make a fantastic boat.she is solid, no structural defects the gelcoat is all original and needs polishing but there are no crazing or major repairs to do.Inventory....a replacement oven in nearly new condition (Smev)ship to shore radio (boxed)2 rolls new upholsteryall old upholstery patternsinternal doorsshe is currently in a boatyard on the river severn in stourport on severn, Worcestershire. storage fees are £250 a quarter.to view please call 07730007200I am open to a sensible offer.
