1981 San Juan 33s in good condition in slip on Lake Murray, SC. Very similar performance to a Tartan 10 or Hobie 33. This is a very fast racer/cruiser that has won several LMYRA seasons on Lake Murray as well as some regattas with minimal crew (as few as 3 including flying Spinnaker). Very easy to sail fast for her PHRF of 132 and a great light wind boat for lake sailing. This is a very spartan racer/cruiser but it has everything you need to win a yacht racing season or go out for a weekend on the water. Specific data on the SJ33s is available online at sailboatdata Details:
NEW custom mast in 2011 from Chesapeake Rigging in Annapolis along with new halyards (nearly $10k invested)
Decks are all solid and original gel-coat.
Yanmar diesel runs strong.
3 Mainsails in fair to good condition:
-Heavy North offshore main
-Medium weight Waters Pentex main
-Lightweight Waters Dacron (good for light wind summer sailing on the lake).
2 headsails in fair but usable condition:
-Waters 155 Genoa
-Waters 95 Jib
1 Symmetrical spinnaker in good conditionMagma grill is not included in the but everything else is including the pelican cooler. Located in a slip at Columbia Sailing Club, Columbia South Carolina. Vessel is in good shape but needs a good cleaning. The interior is in fair to good condition. The main item I would refresh is the removable floor panels but the issue is only cosmetic.
