I'm selling my 1955 Century Palomino Runabout, of which I'm the thirdowner. I purchased it from a good friend of mine that was with his grandfatherthe day it was purchased in Oregon City, Oregon. The boat has always been stored in it's boathouse, a storage unit, or my garage. Therefore it has never had any rot. There has never been any of the wood replaced. The boat is built out of mahogany plank, the top decks are a light type of mahogany, and the rest of the hull a red mahogany. When I bought the boat I sanded the original paint and varnish then repainted and varnished it. The bottom was painted with ananti gall copper based paint. The black and varnish was then sprayed with a clear coat. I removed all of the bright work and had it either rechromed or the stainless was polished. The upholstery is all original, all I had to do to it was give it a good cleaning. There are no holes or tears in it, there are a couple stains, but they can pretty much be hidden by they way the cushions are positioned. The outboard is not original, and I don't have the original. It's a 1979 Mercury 70 hp. It fires right up and runs good. The Tee Nee trailerhas been repainted, I put new shocks and tires on it. It even has it's originallicense plate. Please contact me with any question you may have. Good luck bidding.
