1960 Penn Yan Model: (Baltic HI-Style Series CBF). The Baltic is 16’-6”LOA, with a beam of 74” and Weight of 590-lbs plus motor of 175-lbs. Penn Yan boats were constructed of laminated planks in a lapstreak pattern. The boat is on its original trailer with new tires and bearings and traveled to Seattle from Hershey, Pennsylvania. The boat arrived in Seattle approximately two years ago. The boat spent most of its life on fresh water lakes in the North Eastern US. In 2005 the boat was refurbished including paint and cosmetics, new floor boards, interior stripped and refinished. The interior bilge area was stripped and sealed with Smiths Penetrating Epoxy and coated with Interlux Bilge Coat. Finally, as part of the restoration a new white oak full length Keelson was added. Once in Seattle the boat was again refurbished over the last two years cosmetically with paint and varnish and a 1979, 55 hp Evinrude recently tuned up including plugs, a new water pump and carbs rebuilt. See video on you tube when boat was in Pennsylvania. This is a solid boat with no soft wood in very good condition it is not concourse as in reference to fine restored automobiles. It will make a very good utility boat for daily use. Will help buyer with their shipping arrangements
