This listing is for an annual 12-day period in a partnership of like-minded sailors. Collectively Sailboat Partners LLC operates a 1998 Catalina 42 in the British Virgin Islands. The annual period for sale is in late November to early December and usually coincides with US Thanksgiving so it is a great time to be away from the office (and family; or to bring family along). Cabin layout has one master cabin and ensuite head with two more rear cabins and another head. Main salon and galley offer spacious living accommodations. Comfortable, roomy cockpit. For this time period, this year the dates are November 24, 2016-December 6, 2016. The weather is great, the winds are generally spectacular, and the harbors are less crowded than during the peak holiday weeks of the season. Outside the purchase price are annual maintenance obligations of $720 per quarter; this is much cheaper than even the least expensive charters for just one week and you own a piece of the partnership. Sails out of Fat Hogg's Bay in Tortola, so easily accessible with flights into Beef Island (EIS), or Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas USVI (STT) with ferry service to Tortola. Must submit a sailing resume and be accepted by the LLC to complete the purchase of this share of the boat.
