'Clamitey J' has been stored ashore in our boat yard for a number of months. She appears to be of GRP construction but we do not know the make, model or year of build. The vessel is fitted with a Bukh inboard diesel but we do not know if it is in running condition. The LOA stated is approximate. We are not able to comment on her condition or the condition of her engine or machinery as we are not Marine Surveyors / Marine Engineers. This is reflected in the auction arrangements with a low starting bid and no reserve. We strongly recommend viewing before bidding so that you can satisfy yourself as to the condition of 'Clamitey J'. The vessel will be sold as seen and a condition of sale is that she is removed from our site within 14 days of the auction ending. We would be happy to lift the boat onto the winning bidders road transport or launch her into the water free of charge subject to any necessary remedial work to make her watertight being carried out at the winning bidder's own risk and expense. If the vessel is afloat on a pontoon berth then visitor fees will be applicable. See for our current visitor prices. There is a small inherent risk of structural failure on all boats that we lift, but if we consider the risk to be too high then we will not carry out the lift in the first instance. We would ask the owner to sign a disclaimer prior to the lift taking place and to instruct us where to place the lifting straps. A copy of the disclaimer is available on request. Under our terms and conditions, the winning bidder would be required to put third party insurance in place for £2,000,000 upon purchase.
