1999 WELLCRAFT SCARAB SCS 23454 MAGNUM MULTI PORT INJECTED 385 HORSEPOWER2014 ALUMINUM CUSTOM TRAILER NO RESERVEThis is a very rare and special boat built by Scarab back in 1999. This boat was nearly twice the price of similar sized boats including the 22 foot model in Scarabs line up during the same time. First, it has a Port side steering position, similar to vehicles on the street. The cockpit is very advanced for the time and it is similar today's super boats in layout. It is a true 5 person seating arrangement but with gunnels to add to the slick design and keep the occupants safe. This particular model has the optional Magnum 454 engine with 385 horsepower. You will hear a lot of "bologna" figures out there about how fast some boats are but this is a mid 60's mph unit. That is very fast on the water. It is completely stock and has through hull exhaust (captains call) and has a hydraulic stabilizer with trim tabs. Some nice touches include full instrumentation, trim tab indicators and very nice throttle controls. Everything works but we do not guarantee radio, amps etc. The engine has been compression tested and has very good figures in the 180 psi range with less then 5 psi variance. The outdrive has been serviced and guaranteed to shift properly etc. This boat is all original including the decals. That makes this boat 17 years old. Please expect the age to reflect the boat. Although it is in very good condition, some people are a little crazy in their expectation at times. The boat has very minor surface gel coat spidering (common on all boats) and may have a dock scratch or two. Some other faults is scratching by the bow mount on the trailer loop.
