Offered for auction today is this 2006 Carolina Skiff 178 DLX model powered by a Honda 75hp 4 Stroke outboard and sitting on a single axle trailer.Mechanical:If your looking for the most versatile fishing boat to hit the market in the last 2 decades then look no further than a quality built Carolina Skiff . This one being offered today is the Pre-Rigged 178 DLX model which includes the Deluxe console, flip flop cooler seat, and both front/rear decks. Propelling this boat is a flawless Honda 75 hp Carburated 4 Stroke Outboard that is running flawlessly and is super fuel efficient. During our inspection we found spectacular compression numbers and little to no corrosion on the powerhead. We have completed all the necessary services to bring it current to include: plugs, fuel filter, water separator filter, lower unit fluid change, carbs removed/cleaned/synced, and water pump. During inspecting the switches on the dash we found several in-op so we installed new switches, horn, and new wiring to get everything working flawlessly. In the rear deck is a bait well with aerator that was found to work with no issues. This boat is 100% water ready and will get you to your favorite fishing hole and back with no issues for many trips to come.Cosmetic:By looking through the photos provided it's obvious the previous owner took pride in keeping this vessel in great condition over the years. The vinyl interior looks like it's almost new and the bimini top will sure be appreciated on a long sunny day for a bit of shade. The hull shows very little signs of scuffs/dock rash and the bottom is clean with no bottom paint ever being installed. This is a solid fishing vessel but certainly looks nice enough to take out for just a pleasure cruise on the water. You will be impressed on how nice this boat is and so will your friends and family.Trailer:The trailer in the photos is being provided with the sale of this vessel is a very solid single axle galvanized trailer in excellent condition.
