Feast your eyes on this well maintained 2001 Godfrey Marine Hurricane 170 GS Deck Boat that is powered by a Yamaha 115hp outboard and sitting pretty on a single axle trailer.Mechanical:Godfrey Marine has been building quality boats as far as you can remember and nothing is better than their full line of Hurricane Deck Boats. This is a fine example of a fun family boat with plenty of room to move around and get anywhere your heart desires. This boat is propelled around the waterways by a very well maintained Yamaha 115 hp 2 Stroke oil injected outboard that is in perfect running condition. During inspection we found this motor to have great compression numbers and no signs of corrosion as this boat was used in fresh water its complete life from what we were told. During servicing the engine we completed the following services: Plugs, fuel filter, water separator filter, new marine battery, water pump, lower unit fluid change, and thermostats to bring it up to date. The gauges on this vessel were found to be all working along with the navigation/anchor lights. The radio is almost brand new and the speakers were just installed by the previous owner. This vessel is ready for the water and ready to give you many hours of stress free boating.Cosmetic:As you see from the photos provided the previous owners took pride in keeping this boat nice over the years. The hull was just compounded, buffed, and waxed to bring out it's original luster. The vinyl interior looks great and shows very little signs of wear/stains. This was probably accomplished by keeping the very nice custom made snap on cover on this boat when not in use. Also it has a bimini top installed that will help keep unwanted sun or rain off of it's passngers. For the age of this boat the hull is in above average condition showing very little scuffs or dock rash areas.Trailer:The single axle galvanized trailer pictured is being included with the sale of this boat. During inspection we found the trailer in great working order to include the bunks, lights, bearings, tires, wench , and tongue jack.
