I have to sell my boat project as it seems that I am never going to get round to doing it. This is the Sourjorner, it is a 12-14ft cabin cruiser, it was built by its previous owner using some DIY plans based on a sailboat but adapted to a motor cruiser. It features a raised driving position and a small cabin which can be converted to a bedroom for short stays, shes not big but very cosy. Included is an engine which I will add more details about shortly once I dig out of its storage location. Also included is the road trailer and lighting board so it is all ready to go. Unfortunately now comes the bad parts and I will be totally honest. I bought the boat with a friend as a going concern, the previous owner had enjoyed much use of the vessel up until the point whilst towing it in Belgium, the road had a large hidden dip, the impact on the trailer caused some damage to the bottom of the hull, the previous then then carried out the repair and reinforcement that you can see in the pictures, however he infomred us that there is still a small leak. I had planned to float the boat, locate the leak and then rectify th the faut. This is point where I fall foul as I have never got round to doing this and I do not have access to anywhere to do so making it somewhat of a stalling point in my project! Otherwise as you can see from the pictures, the paint is peeling on the deck and the lower areas have gone a bit mouldy/mildewy whilst the boat has been stored. The boat will need a rub down and repaint to get it looking good again, the good news is the wood is all solid so it should be a simple job. I never cared much for the colour scheme anyway If you can see beyond its cosmetic neglect, Im sure this boat has got much enjoyment to give. Viewing is welcome, please bid to buy. Any questions, please feel free to ask
