This 14-foot long beautiful Canadian-style open canoe can be folded into a 96cm x 46cm smart suitcase like box, portable and small enough to be stashed into a car boot, taken on coaches, trains and planes. This canoe can make nature more accessible for outdoor explorers or for quick breaks.  It is not intended to be used with the kneeling style of paddling (an optional extra kneeling thwart may be available in the near future) although photos above show some try outs in solo mode & kneeling.An unique feature that this canoe has that possibly no other canoe has is that the MyCanoe has an adjustable rocker - either have no rocker or some rocker (more curved keel). Difference is between 5-6cm at the bow and stern. Enables the canoe to negotiate twisting streams easily with a pronounced rocker. Leave the rocker adjustment alone produces a flat keel - suitable for long distance straight line paddling.MyCanoe is made of a ultra tough polypropylene corrugated plastic cardboard with hinges along the folds, which are durable to withstand up to 20,000 times of folding and unfolding (who is going to use the canoe 20, 000 times?). The whole hull comprises of a single piece of plastic cardboard with two separate thicker reinforcement floor cardboard pieces which also doubles up as the outer covers of the 'suitcase' box. Pricing
MyCanoe price is very similiar to other folding boats that are made with the same type of materials and uses the same folding concept. It is still cheaper than foldable canoes that have a skeleton frame and a soft skin. You do pay more compared to a hard shell open canoe, however you have the benefit of a light weight canoe that solves most storage and transportation problems.
This MyCanoe is NOT a recent Kickstarter project, it is a boat that has been on the EU / USA  market for over 3 years whilst being upgraded & refined since the first production models came out about 5-6 years ago.
