Up for Auction is a 1957 17’ Chris-Craft Cavalier Utility with a KFL, 131 hp and including the trailer. 1 of 936 17’ models made. The serial number on the engine is # 11687, it runs fantastic and has a closed valve system that allows you to run the engine off a garden hose in your driveway. The copper- bronze painted bottom is water tight after soaking and has a manual bilge pump the runs off a switch and an automatic bilge pump. All the Chris-Craft Stewart Warner gauges work. The boat was restored in 2003 by a well known Boat restoration company in the NY Finger Lakes area. The 2003 restoration included new varnish, paint and new FLAME red upholstery. In 2008 the chrome was refinished, new carpet, refurbished the steering wheel and the 4 wheel trailer was refurbished. In 2009, the boat received a coat of varnish. It could use a little "freshening up" of the varnish. The boat has been winterized and is currently in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. I will consider delivering it to NY, PA, NJ, DE, MD and VA for a fee. What more can I say, it’s a good wooden boat with an engine that runs great and can be trailered anywhere. Have Clear Titles for both the boat and trailer.Unfortunately our family doesn’t have time to use the boat like it should be used. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime, the boat is for sale locally. Thanks for looking.
