1964 Chris Craft 52.6 Feet
This is a classic Wood Chris Craft yacht and was built in Florida but seems it was a West Coast boat " California" Hailing port. Some how made its way back home.
The Mooncastle was for sale for over 100,000.00 before her late skipper passed away after her
owner passed the vessel took on water in a several day weather event. Dead battery seems to be the cause coupled with heavy down pours.   The vessel's battery's died and several days of heavy rain some how sank her, she sank in a shallow slip. Motors did go under water. After the vessel was pumped out the water and oil that went into the motors was pumped out and removed from inside both motors and both gears. Both Main engines and gears were fresh water washed (outside) sprayed up with wd-40 (outside components) and then the main engines and gears were filled to the top with  Diesel and ATF FLUID mix to coat vital internal motor parts the motors were bared over approximate 45 Days ago. UN known if they still spin or not.  The Mooncastle was stripped off 90% of her soft goods, towels,some bedding,carpet,towels etc.  she was cleaned and DE greased and again was washed inside and out. Fan dried.  Headliner did not get wet.
 
Boat went down with dead battery's no power to the panel and battery switch battery compartment in tack. Needs : Cleaning, Carpet, Motor work , Some electrical wires and ends, Galley equipment, electronic components, buyer is encouraged to bring his or hers own mechanics and or surveyors.  This Vessel will be sold as is where is at the end of this auction. Short Term Dockage can be made available for a monthly fee or towing to marina can be arranged please call for more information . 32 Volt System Motors,pumps Etc, 12 volt for lights etc. No Generator. Motors have not been started. has shore power system, unknown if working. Shore Power plug on bow and stern.
The Moon castle's Paint and teak work are above average condition.Motors are 32 volt, Natural, 6 cylinder GM Detroit Diesel ENGINES  TWIN
Repairs will be required.  Battery's,starters and alternators in need of new items.
Vessel has been cleaned and will require more cleaning. Steering works.
