S/V Parity is an excellent example of why the Ericson 30 Plus was so popular. ThisBruce King designed, performance cruiser is in overall good condition and isattractively priced for a quick sale. Parity has an upgraded YANMAR diesel engine(Yanmar 2GM20F) (replacing the old Atomic) and new electronics including newGARMAN GPS MAP 741 XS chartplotter, depth sounder, wind instruments, mastmounted RADAR, and VHF antenna mounted at top of mast. The sails are in goodcondition and the headsail was recently replaced. Her galley has a two burner gasstove, icebox and sink with a pressurized water with water tank heater and amanual foot pump at the galley sink. There is an enclosed marine head with holdingtank.Power:The Yanmar 2GM20F is a four-stroke vertical, water-cooled diesel engine. It is a twocylinder (2GM20) of 75 mm in diameter and 72 mm in stroke. The continuous ratingoutput at the crankshaft is 11.8 kW, at 3400 revolutions per minute (rpm). Themaximum output at the crankshaft is 13.4 kW, at 3600 rpm. The engine deliversroughly 16 horsepower, for a weight of about 114 kg.
