Under wraps for 5 years, this Classic was re-launched in the spring of 2015 after a thorough overhaul of all it's mechanical systems.  This is the ultimate "Great Looper" and it's ready to do just that.  Powered by a single John Deere 135 HP engine she will travel at 9 knots and burn 2 gallons of fuel an hour.  A Vetus bowthruster makes docking a simple task for the inexperienced captain. There are two Marine-Air HVAC systems pushing 26,000 BTU's of heat or air conditioning.  A 7.5KW Northern Lights generator (in a sound box) provides all the electric you need on the hook or while traveling.  Just installed is a full bridge enclosure ($9k expense) giving you the opportunity to travel in any weather and run her from the bridge.  A Lewmar windlass (automatic drop and retract) makes it possible for you to anchor without any assistance since controls are at both helms.  GPS, radar, and two VHF radios along with a Simrad autopilot and Datamarine depthfinders provide all the electronics you need to travel anywhere.  Teak decks are in Bristol condition as are all the teak and Mahogany rails and oversized swim platform.  Interior and exterior cushions are 'like new.'  A Shipmate propane stove and oven along with an oversize microwave provide for all your cooking needs.  A Norcold refrigerator/freezer is adequate for travel needs.  Has an AM/FM CD Bluetooth radio with speakers throughout saloon and bridge.  Also a Philips Flatscreen TV is mounted in saloon.  Will consider including a Bristol condition Dyer Dink with full sailing package and Honda 4 Cycle 2.5 HP outboard (sits in custom cradle on rear cabin with full cover - a $2500 value).This is a two cabin cruiser that sleeps 4 in complete privacy (forward cabin has head and sink, rear cabin has head, sink and shower).  The main saloon has an L-shaped setee with a table that opens and drops down to create another full bunk for two guests.  Prepared to cruise this GB has replacement hoses for all existing hoses, clamps, back up water pump ($600 value), two new backup alternators ($800 value) 6 back up fuel filters for engine and genset, an ONBOARD oil changing system for engine and generator and an endless supply of any backup part (including spare props) needed to run the mechanical systems of the boat.  Also note that I have all owners manuals and manuals on all mechanical systems for the boat since she was built in 1977.There are no window leaks on this boat; nor are there any issues with the teak decks.  Installed this year was a new headliner for the main saloon.  If your looking for a trouble free 36 Classic this is the boat you want.  I'm only selling her because I have a 42 Classic that I live aboard and hate to have the 36 go unused...so it's time to sell.
