CAL 25’ MARK II (Sloop) – 1978 7 HP Yanmar Inboard diesel - Model YSM 8 Engine Parts and Service Manuals included 4 ½ foot fin keel/draft Tiller steering with twist tiller-lock and tiller canvas cover 10 gallon diesel fuel tank capacity Purchased by present owner: 2007 Extensive upgrades over time since purchase; receipts to prove. Un-stepped/re-stepped mast 2007 and add all new: Anchor Light Steaming Light VHF antenna and rewiring Running lights replaced New Windex (wind directional) All Halyards/lines/dock lines AND life-lines replaced New Cushions: ‘V’ Birth and Main Salon New Companion-way hatch-boards/cabin-entry (by Keith Wenig) New main salon settee storage boards under salon cushions (by Keith Wenig) Replaced the marine ‘head’ new (Wilcox-Crittendon brand) Added a boom-vang, “Boom Kicker” model Added a ‘Dutchman Mainsail’ System (main sail good condition); spares on board. New Mainsail canvas cover (by Linthicum) CDI Genoa roller-furling (120% Genoa, great conditon) Raymarine depth & knot meter. NICRO v-birth 24 hour solar-vent. Annually sanded and prepped boat bottom for marine painting (Interlux Aqua) New VHF radio (Standard Horizon). Two (2) battery banks, 1 starter and 1 house battery. MARINCO 2 battery-bank charger Shore power 50’ cord. GFI outlets: in cockpit lazarette compartment and in main cabin Packless Shaft Seal (PSS) ‘dripless’ stuffing box. New Rule-Mate bilge pump. All sea-cocks upgraded from gate-valves to ball valves Diesel engine upgrades: new starter and solenoid, hoses; added a Racor filter between Fuel tank and engine itself. Additionally, a new raw water intake filter by Perko, added. All engine hoses replaced. Raw water pump with impellar replaced new. ZINC anode new. Fuel tank was removed, cleaned and reinstalled, after a new replacement fuel-tank platform (built by Keith Wenig) was installed prior to the cleaned fuel tank installation. New starter push button. Regular engine service maintenance. New fuel guage, and fuel sender plus wiring; replaced all old parts Cockpit Bimini (canvas awning, if you will), by Skip Lippincott Sails regularly maintained by Linthicum sailmakers. Transom scupper drain portals replaced with brass (from old plastic) plus new hoses to same In-cabin all water supply hoses replaced. Galley sink with ice-box, but no stove. ( consider a table top portable stove with Butane fuel cans ) Skip Lipincott cut away a portion of the transom pulpit at its center to allow easy walk-through entry into cockpit, without having to climb over the pulpit. The cut bitter-ends are capped, and struts attached to the free ends, all stainless steel. New tiller bass stainless steel clamp (custom made by Marshall, at Riverside machine shop, prior to Marshall’s untimely demise).
