G'day and thanks for looking. This is a genuine Panga Longboat built by Southwind (a division of Yamaha). If you are reading this listing then you are probably already aware of just how good these boats are in smooth or rough water, and how efficient they are too - ie they require very minimal horsepower due to the hull design. Anyway here is some info for you.And incidentally, if you are an interstate buyer, then I am happy to assist with getting the boat to you. That is, if you are in QLD, for example, then we can happily discuss me meeting you half way perhaps - call to discuss if you wish.....It is 19 foot long. The motor is a rebuilt 1992 Johnson. Please note that it is a 50hp - NOT 40. The original 40hp powerhead was replaced at rebuild (18 months ago) with a quality rebuilt 50 (Wiseco pistons etc) including the 50hp carbs - I thought about getting new decals for the engine cover but didn't really see the point. It pumps plenty of water, starts easily, is electric tilt and trim and scoots this baby along really bloody well - even fully loaded. By fully loaded I mean two adults, a big dog, a shirt-load of firewood and all our camping gear. The motor is brilliant! All the electric wiring on the boat is only about 12 months old including the battery. Battery is mounted in a proper battery box and is the 'Century Marine' brand. Twin fuel tanks (2 years old). All the interior lighting and nav lights are LEDs. It has a stereo also.Plenty of storage under the sundeck on the bow, as well as under both the seats. The rear seat is one of those large ice-box type eskys that can be lifted in or out of the boat easily (depending on how much beer is in it!!!) The one in front of the console is easily moved also. Its carpeted all through too.Its on a 'Tilta' brand tandem trailer with new bearings and LED lights with new wiring also. It has a new winch - a geared dunbier unit. And a swing-up jockey wheel. The hull is in good condition. No leaks. No cracks. The floor is actually an aluminium cool-room wall panel that has been cut to size, glued in place, and has carpet stuck on top. Its strong, light weight and extra buoyancy should the need arise. The two biminis are set up so that you can have one up or both - and when not being used they can be stowed forward or aft depending on how you wish to use the space - it really is a very flexible set up. They are easily removed too if that is your preference. It comes with anchor and rope, some lifejackets, extinguisher, depth sounder - and pretty much as you see it in the photos. The boat is located in Clifton Springs Victoria. Feel free to come check it out. Any questions call me on 0435 993 073 - my name is Chris. Please also note that this is NOT an auction - it is buy now.Cash on pick up is fine thanks, or bank deposit. If you wish to use any other payment method, then you may also wish to pay any fees associated with that method also!! Thanks for looking.
