Here we have for sale my lovely Norman 24 foot river cruiser, Bijou. We have owned her for 2 years and we've done a full refit this year including carpets, wall linings, upholstery, curtains, cushions etc. Below is some of the items she has and what we have done to her to bring her up to date. We are selling her due to work commitments which means I will be working weekends.  It is with great sadness that we don't really have any other option than to pack in boating and sell up.She is completely self sufficient and we have enjoyed hours of sailing in her.  She has got fitted to her:Propex heating thermostatically controlled (fitted this year and keeps you lovely and warm when its drops cooler at night)Gas oven with two gas burner rings and grillBrand new fridge which runs on 12 V and gas (but we haven't had time to connect it to gas)100 w solar panel2 leisure batteries shore powerboat safety November 2017hot and cold running water100 litre water tanktoiletLED lightingDepth finderMarine radioDigital voltage display with multiple usb pointsBrand new radio with usb and iPhone capabilityBrand new 22 inch freeview dvd Tv 12v and mains powerBrand new Baten digital freeview aerial fitted on a brand new mastAll inside re carpeted inc wall lining in Grey and fitted floor carpetsAll cushions memory foam topped and recovered with removable covers and scotchguardedNew curtains with black out liningsmatching cushion covers made to match with the curtainsThe material was chosen by picking out the colour off her table.  She was originally done out in blue. EngineMercury 15 HP Bigfoot (it is strong enough to take you on tidal rivers and we ourselves have sailed on the River Ouse)Engine fully serviced in April 2016 and has done 6 hours sailing since. Serviced by Castleford Boat Yard.  Full service including timing belt, oil filter, spark plugs, gearbox, oil engine oil, water pump and water impellor cost £400Accessories:Anchorbank stickmud weightsspare petrol tankloch keysbritish waterways keyscarbon monoxide detectorsmoke alarmsfire extinguishers and fire blankets plus many other bits and bobs which are useful but just too many to list. She has her original gel coat but with anti slip painted where you walk on it.There are lots of other bits and bobs that will stay with her too.previous owners kept a folder of all the rivers and lochs they went through with details and pictures. No leaking windows or hatches.  Because its a Norman 24 if your 6 foot you'll still be able to stand up in this boat unlike the Norman 23 and 20In the rear its carpeted and we have had made matching (to the internal carpets) fitted rugs. The front bed makes up to a large bed, the table slots down to make a small double,  there are two extra cushions which can go on the floor at the side of where the table is to make an additional sleeping area.  Our two children shared the small double so depending on the size of the people sleeping on the boat you could have 2 in the front, 2 in the small double and 1 on the floor.  you could even put 1 person under the canopy in the rear on the bench.  I have listed it as a 4 berth because that's how we have used it.It has two large storage cupboards at the either side of the oven and some storage shelves above the fridge (opposite the toilet).  There is also storage under all the seats.  Currently moored in Howden, East YorkshireThis is an Environmental Agency river and so the river licence only cost £6 per year.  From here you can either just sail up and down the river or access the River ouse.  Please note you will need to purchase a river licence for the Ouse as it is under British Waterways.  Moorings are paid for until next April but they may incur a transfer fee.It is an amazing boat for the money and you will enjoy hours of sailing in it.  I have been as honest as possible but I strongly advise viewing before clicking buy it now.  please contact me either through  email or on 07976037652Open to reasonable offers, cash on collection or bank transfer.
