An elderly speedboat looking for a new home.  Please note that the photos show an engine, remotes, fuel tank and depth sounder display - these are NOT included in the sale, but are for sale separately (please see other listing).  The boat is 14'8" long and solidly built from the era when lots of fibreglass was used, so the hull is solid and watertight.  Ideal for two people plus sandwiches, but space in the back for extras (it had five in, plus two dogs last week and still performed brilliantly).  Has been great with a 40hp engine and for several years we used a 28hp, but this struggled to get onto a plane.  Two fold down seats, plus two hardwood benches in the back.  Fitted with original cable steering which works fine.  There are various holes in the dashboard where gauges and switches have been fitted in the past - including a large opening which is currently behind the depth sounder display and some untidy work behind the steering wheel.  Other untidy areas include some poorly done cut-outs in the engine bay and marks here and there.  There is a removable ply floor in the back and the seats are removable (with a spanner) so can be dry stored for the winter.  The screen is not original, but is made from thick polycarbonate so is unbreakable.  There is a fitted cover which does a good job of keeping the interior and engine dry when not in use.  A NASA depth transducer is fitted - this is included in the sale as it would be difficult to remove (it is epoxied to the inside of the hull), but you would need to add a display unit and battery to operate.  The trailer needs work as it has significant rust areas, although it still tows fine and the bearings are good (recently cleaned and repacked with grease).  I would recommend repair, including some patching or replacement sections, very soon.  There is no jockey wheel (we have not needed this as it balances well once it has an engine on the transom).  Winch works fine and it is easy to launch and recover, and very easy to tow. This is an old boat (probably dating from the 70s) and dodgy trailer and I would advise a look before buying.  Its been great fun for our family but I am moving over to sailing, hence the sale.  Collection only from Bude - Paypal or cash - you will need a lighting board.  Please make contact within 24 hours of buying.  Good luck
