S/V Tailwinds is a 1981 Catalina 30 tall rig.  She has spent most of her life in the fresh waters of the northern Chesapeake Bay, MD.  I recently sailed her up to the Long Island Sound for the remainder of the summer.  I am moving to Miami this winter so I am putting her up for sale now in hopes of finding her a good home.
She is currently located at a marina in Manhasset Bay, Long Island.Tailwinds has been cared well for with consistent preventitive maintenance and numerous upgrades.  A list of all major work is listed below.The Catalina 30 is a bit of a legend as far as classic fiberglass boats go and it shows under sail.  Whether close hauled into 20 knot winds or a light air broad reach - her stability, speed and responsiveness will never fail to impress.  It is the best of both worlds with this boat, big enough to feel stable in some nasty conditions but small enough to single hand.Also included is an 8' Achillies hypalon dinghy and a 2010 2.5 hp Suzuki outboard.Specs:
