Reluctantly for sale is my 1999 Bayliner 2252 Rare Hard Top Ciera Express (Mr Merlin) motor cruiser that is in immaculate condition for it's age.Just 20 hours running time, No this is not a misprint, the engine is like brand new and it was totally rebuilt at a cost of over £7,000.00, all receipts present. The alpha out drive and trim tabs were also totally overhauled at the same time and everything works as it should I have only done just 20 hours on her from the rebuild. I hold Full title papers including original bill of sale showing the VAT being paid. This boat has been cared for since day one and is specified extremely well and includes:• VHF radio• Fish finder• Compass • Fire suppression system• Trim Tabs• Toilet with Sea valve or holding tank• Microwave oven• Cooker (spirit)• Sink with Running Water• Floor mood lighting• 240v shore electrics• Alpine stereo/CD• Plenty of storage • Spacious entertaining space• All fenders• Anchor with chain and line• Brand new Full camper canvass Tonneau cover.• Mercruiser 5.0 V8 and alpha one outdrive.All in all, this is a fantastic boat that handles very well in all sea conditions and is equally at home on the lakes and rivers. It's an extremely good looking comfortable, spacious, reliable weekend 22’cruiser. I have owned this boat for the past 4 years and she has given me and my family some wonderful weekends and holidays around the south coast. In 2014 there was some water ingression in cylinder one, I had the engine completely taken out and rebuilt by a qualified Mercruiser engineer from the bottom up with all new genuine Mercruiser parts. I have only done just 20 hours since the rebuild and I am now only selling her due to financial reasons and a lack of use due to new business working terms. I can honestly say, I would not be selling her if I did not have to and I will be extremely sad to see her go. This boat is ready to give many, many hours of pleasure and fun and she needs no money spending on her. She will transport you on coastal trips in comfort and with ease. She will cruise at 25 knots all day long and you can open the throttle up to 35 knots, so plenty of power to pull the kids along on their donuts and banana boats…. She is also a fantastic fishing boat, and there are plenty of rod holders. The living accommodation is comfortable and big enough for two people to stay for extended excursions or 4 people for weekends. We are non smokers and everything on the boat smells fresh. The new full camper canvas cover I had specially made can be partially or fully removed with ease. I also have a single white canopy deck cover that can be seen in some of the pictures that you can use in the summer months if you don’t want the full camper cover on that is also included in the sale. There is also a brand new digital TV aerial included within the sale that just needs fitting. The boat is realistically priced considering all the work that has been done on her, I have described her accurately and fairly. I have now taken her out of the water and she has just had this month her yearly service done. The leg was also taken off and completely serviced. New anodes have also been fitted along with 2 x brand new batteries. She is ready to go back into the water to be used and enjoyed. I am an extremely reasonable and polite man so Please do not insult me with silly offers or offering your car in part exchange, I am only interested in selling my boat for cash.
