Description
Country/Region of Manufacture: | United Kingdom |
Sun is a lovely 73ft liveaboard narrowboat. Far more spacious that you would normally expect from a narrowboat live aboard. We bought her 2 years ago but have recently bought a flat so looking to sell (copy of survey availible on request). Currently moored at Roydon Village Marina it's an easy train into London (just 32 minutes to London Liverpool Street) but with the peace and quiet of being in the countryside. The community is lovely and there's a great bar and cafe at the marina and pubs and restaurants a walkable distance in town. Sun consists of a small office area, dinning/seating area (complete with morso squirrel stove), kitchen (with gas hob and cooker), shower with cassette toilet and two separate sleeping areas (one with space for a small double mattress and one a child's mattress). Everything ready to go.
Made by Bantock around 1890-1895 and converted in the 1970s to a liveaboard. It's a boat with a great load of a history and surprisingly good condition for age. Length 22.2m, breadth 2.1m, draft 0.8m. Powered by Leyland 3.8 four cylinder diesel engine. Last out of the water for blacking and fitted with new anodes in Feb 2015. River license valid until March 2017. Boat safety certificate valid until March 2020.Priced to sell. Open to offers. Please get in touch with any questions or if you'd like to come to view.
