This has bee a project that I started with my son a few years back. It started life as a speed boat which was given to him by a friends father. We cut away most of the top moulding to make it an open deck boat. We found the deck was rotten, so that was removed. The transom was also rotten so it came out too. With all the enthusiasm, we purchased a new 4hp outboard, which is still in the box and never been started. The enthusiasm faded and it became a dead project on the drive.I decided to use the timber and fibre glass we had bought and get it to a usable state.WHAT HAS BEEN DONENew bulk heads and deck, cover in fibreglass cloth and resin. Finished in Top coat with non slip beadsThe hull was sanded back to the original gel-coat, primed and painted white with marine paint.Top is primed and painted RedNew timber gunwales covered in top coat.New Bung PlugsTHE TRAILERThe Trailer was sand blasted, Primed and then painted. Winch and Jockey wheel both function as they should. Wheel bearing have been replace and it is ready to tow. It has almost new tyres on it. Functioning trailer board. Will need your number plate.THE MOTORIt is still brand new in the box, and never been started. I purchased it over 2 years ago.
