This Chris Craft is a 1936 38' extended hardtop cruiser. This is the only one of 5 built know to exist today.  Each of these 5 boats were a custom design, the only make and model of Chris Craft that ever was built that way. Every piece of optional wood is stamped with the hull number and piece number.  "Next Friday" has under gone years of extensive restoration and comes with a current professional survey. in 2006 2 rebuilt  350 chevy engines were installed as well as new transmissions. New wiring, a 4000 kw generator, 3 ss fuel tanks ( total capacity 170 gal.) and a ss water tank were also installed. We upgraded the steering to hydraulic and installed an auto helm auto pilot, gps, vas radio, hot water tank, and a refrigerator was installed where the icebox used to be.  comfort while cruising was our main concern and originality a close second.  The interior and exterior upholstery was replaced to 'as close as original' as possible.  All necessary planks, caulking, fittings, bungs, have been replaced as needed and is in excellent condition today. The exterior cabin top and extended hardtop have had the original canvas replaced with dynel cloth and epoxy. This boat has never left the fresh water of the great lakes and has never been exposed to salt water.A cradle comes with the boat and , at buyers expense, can be piloted or shipped to your location.
