Thanks for looking at our Northcraft 6.3M dive rib. We have had the rib for about 5 years and have had many good days diving throughout the UK however a combination of old age and illness has meant that the rib has not been used for over 12 months now and sadly needs to go. The boat is ideal for diving with a wide beam, single center console and a generous deck area for kitting up. The boat wasn't fitted with a cylinder rack so we have tried a number of configurations with a view to fitting a custom rack and the boat has a rack temporarily attached to the center console. The hull and tubes have no signs of damage or repair and are in very good condition. The boat is fitted with factory fitted heavy duty fender rails along the length of the tubes and at the bow.The gel coat on the hull is intact with only one or two very minor marks. The boat has a Honda 130 four stroke engine which starts first time and runs faultlessly and pushes the boat along at about 26 knotts fully loaded with divers and kit. We have recently replaced the the impeller and impeller housing and the engine has a good tell-tale flow. Steering is hydraulic and in good order. We have fitted a Raymarine AS50D colour chart plotter and linked DSC radio which cost just over £1000 about 3 years ago. Both are in full working order and great pieces of kit. (The Oxygen kit shown in the photos is not included in the sale). The boat sits on a braked 4 wheel indespension break back trailer to which we have added a retractable sand wheel to make launching that bit easier. When we bought the boat the previous owner had removed the brake mechanism as his basically only used the trailer for launching. We reinstated new cables, back plates, hubs and drums to make the trailer road legal for towing but trailer brakes and sea water mean that maintenance is a annual necessity. Included with the boat are a and anchor, various ropes, fenders, 4 fitted dry-boxes, spare trailer wheel and engine muffs.The boat and trailer have been hosed down meticulously after every use and the engine flushed with fresh water using the engine muffs.
