The shell has very special historic influenced lines designed to look like a period Tunnel Tug with a later front cabin. The boat has a very long for and aft swims with a bow of modern build in the Josher style. There is a 'bowcabin' above to hold the gas bottles and river anchor with a neat stopbeam above and sporting a huge masthead lamp for tunnel illumination. the stern includes anser pins and shackles and an anchor mounting web for river use. The domestic cabin roof is visually dropped from the rear period cabin to allow the feature of a very solid stop beam and a cross roping rail with sliding ring. The rear cabin has its own 4 porthole 'pidgeon box' vent and there is a matching 6 porthole one over the kitchen. The Engine room has a 1951 genuine Lister Marine Diesel JP3M (as opposed to all the converted industrial engines normally seen). The Engine is in near original build with a copper dry sump tank system and the  inverted piston pump system for the cooling water in a heavy bronze pump body, the engine has all its original raised handstart equipment however it now has electric start.Its very very rare to find such an original build Marine Engine unmolested by later work. The integral gearbox is the renowned Lister Blackstone with 2-1 drop reduction drive to the triple cardan shaft to the 2" sternshaft. The sternshaft has a huge Fenner Dodge thrust bearing, The propeller is a heavy build 27 x 22 bronze. There is a fabulous Boatmans cabin in true period style with table flay, boot cupboard, crumb draw, unusually it has a wide boatmans drop bed of 4 foot width. inbetween the Boatmans and the engine, each side are hidden 3/4 warbrobes to hold a Ladies dress, carefully hidden behind doors that close off at night the engine.
