Here for sale we have our narrow boat Rowan.She was finally completed and launched in August 2015 and traveled a mile or so down the river Severn to her mooring and that is as far as she has traveled, not even one lock/mile under her base plate.The exterior hull is coated with bitumen, the base plate has been blasted and painted in twin pack epoxy paint - 5 layers. The top side has been blasted and once more sprayed with twin pack base and top coat. All windows were removed for this process.Rowan is a cruiser style, reverse layout, livaboard narrow boat. So you enter through the rear doors and drop down three steps (storage unit) passing the cloakroom on one side (full height) and store cupboard (half height with hot water tank below) on the other. You are now in the galley style kitchen with fitted work surfaces, tiled splash backs and fitted units below. The fitted units offer a range of cupboard type storage units and pull out storage racking and draw. The galley has a fitted microwave, washing machine and free standing cooker. There are also shelves and a plate/ glass rack at high level.The living room has been left mostly open to accommodate two swivel/reclining chairs. There is also a central heating radiator, under gunnel shelving, solid fuel stove and cupboard for your TV and entertainment equipment. A door leads through to the dining / work room (spear bedroom).This room is fitted with a 'U' shaped seating area (storage under), table on removable legs (which also infills the bed) which has a storage space under the gunnel, central heating radiator and storage and locations for a child's hammock which fits over the double bed as and when required.A door leads through to the shower room.The shower room is full width of the boat containing. A showier cubical, sink unit, power flush cassette toilet (with spare cassette), heated towel rail, towel cupboard, LED lit mirror and glass display shelves. Hot water is provided throughout the boat by the central heating system and engine when running.A door leads through to the main bed room.The main bedroom has a full sized four foot six by six foot six bed. Central heating radiator, full height wardrobe with hanging space and shelving and a half height cloths storage space.Storage steps lead up to the half glazed front doors.There is an open cockpit area with glazed cratch and in the fore-peak of the boat is the gas bottle locker fitted with two 10 kg gas bottles.Throughout the boat there is ample LED lighting units and the boat is carpeted throughout.Under the rear deck is a 43hp canaline engine and gearbox with approximately 11 hours running. 4 x 110 hour domestic batteries and one starter battery. Diesel central heating system and 240v battery charger.Rowan is on her mooring which is paid until May 2017. The mooring is accessible 365 days a year, parking is available and your post is accepted in the marina office so you can occupy your boat for as many days as you wish. A storage locker is also associated with this mooring (at extra cost) which is paid until May 2017. The mooring is offline so a river is only required when you take your boat on to the main river / canal system.
