Selling the following; Raider 16 Cuddy fishing boat - 2005 60 horsepower Mercury 4 stroke outboard engine – 2005 New Indespension Roller Coaster Trailer – 2016 Very safe high sided fishing boat that is renowned for its great use of deck space. Cruises at 14 to 16 knots and goes flat out on a calm day 26 knots maximum. It’s got high sides with plenty of grab rails and cleats. The outboard is very quiet and economical to run. Add to that the trailer is brand new, so this is a great package. The hull has never been anti- fouled so you can see its real condition. It has a few scratches as you might expect for a trailered boat underneath, nothing serious. The sides and cab are very tidy for its age. I don’t think it’s had much use. The hull is 16 foot long with a wide 7 foot beam. The reverse gull-wing hull makes it good in choppy water and stable when fishing. It floats in a foot of water so great for shallow slipways or beaches. The cuddy keeps you dry, the hull design means you don’t get wet when under power. This is a UK built boat that has a double skinned deck/hull with sealed voids to make it very buoyant and safe. Specification Raider 16 Cuddy The below items were all fitted brand new this year - 2016 · Raymarine Dragonfly 5 PRO fitted 2016 (has fish finder, down vision feature, Charts and Bluetooth connectivity for iPhone/iPad viewing of down vision. · Standard Horizon Eclipse DSC/VHF radio and aerial. · Stainless steel radar tower fitted. · Stainless steel LED navigation lights and anchor light. · Stainless steel 4 rod holder on transom. · Orca auto/manual electric bilge pump. · 12 volt power point and USB charging sockets · Stainless steel storage seat box (great for storing kit and a nice step to get in and out of the boat). · Yuasa 100Ahr Leisure battery to ensure everything runs all day with the engine off. · Anchor, chain and wrap – never been used. It also has · Twin fuel tanks. · Manual bilge pump. · Weather proof storage cover – tonneau. · 2 side fishing rod holders. · Twin pedestal seats that swivel, adjust for height and fold for transport. · Anti slip floor. · Auxiliary engine adjustable outboard bracket. · Engine has original controls, rev counter and trim gauge. · Engine has doelfins fitted to make it plain at lower speeds. Indespension Roller Coaster BRAKED TRAILER – Build new at factory MAY 2016. · LED IP67 rated waterproof lights – you can dunk them in the sea!! · Braked axles – never been in the water (you can launch and pick up without getting them wet as the rollers are brilliant and the winch easy to use. · 2 speed strap Winch. · Twin side steps for getting in and out of the boat. · Load bearing steel mudguards. · Bearing saver hubs. The trailer was bought because you never want a trailer failure and pay a recovery agent to get you home…..I sold the original and bought this one. It’s probably done 400 miles behind the car since I had it. It’s great that you can safely and easily pick the boat off a dry beach easily without stressing anything. As you can see I spent a fortune on this lot but due to a new business and property to fund I have to sell it because I haven’t had the time to use it much. I would say that it is worth getting the engine serviced and changing the water impeller (dealer quoted 100 pounds including parts for impeller) because its not been changed recently. It pumps plenty of water (see pictures) and I am happy to run it up on the trailer with a hosepipe connected. The boat itself and trailer won’t need a penny spending on them for quite some time.
