Hi, and thanks for looking at my ad for this Freeman 22 mk2 for sale on behalf of the owner. She was built in 1969 and is in lovely original condition and with the benefit of a superb engine upgrade to Nanni diesel. If you look around you'll see that the asking price of only £6,950 is very reasonable for this model of Freeman in this condition as they have such a great reputation for build quality and cruising ability; she is advertised for sale elsewhere.The boat is re-fitted with a Nanni diesel, model 3.100 HE with only 570 hours cruised and it is in superb condition with a 100 amp alternator and a ZF gearbox; all receipts available. This engine is quiet, very economical with good reliability and easy spares availability. Perfectly matched to the Freeman's hull performance and is great for river cruising on the Thames, other rivers and the widebeam canals and Freemans have ventured further afield too.
The hull and superstructure are built in GRP and appear to be very sound with a solid feel and you can see the build quality that gave these boats such a great reputation.
