Description

Reluctant sale, as imminent house move forces this sale on us.Excellent and very tidy, Narrowcraft built 60ft narrowboat, that has been used by our family since 2008. Everything is in full working order, has it's current Safety Certificate and is ready to use by the buyer straight away. "Lunar Curreen" is fitted out with a complete Kitchen/Galley area that has just about everything that you would expect of your own kitchen at home, including all of the expected and necessary storage cupboards. The work surfaces are of Black Granite. There is of course a fitted Four Burner Gas Cooker/Oven/Grill, Microwave, Fridge with internal freezer compartment and an Automatic Front Loader Washing Machine, that is situated to the rear of the vessel. There are both mains and 12 volt electricity supplies installed, so that you have constant, easy access and use of conventional 240 volt domestic appliences. Constant Hot Water is also on tap, via the fitted 240 volt Immersion Heater and also supplimented by the Hot Water Heating System that is driven by the engine, whilst you are cruising. The mains electricity can be either shore provided when in a marina, or "on tap", whilst you are cruising on your long and lazy days on the canal itself, from the installed 3Kw Inverter, that is powered by it's own bank of Heavy Duty Domestic 12 volt batteries. The floor is polished, fully Oak planked throughout and has also been covered by us with some fitted carpeting. The walls and ceiling are both also of Light Oak. The lighting throughtout, is all recessed Low Power, 12volt LED, suplimented by ceiling mounted LED stips in the forward living area. There is a fully fitted and very efficient Oil Fired Central Heating Radiator system installed throughout the vessel, which can make short work of any cold winter nights. The main living area also benefits from it's own Wood Burning Stove, which really makes the family accomodation, extremely cosy and comfortable. We currently have three TV's installed inside, which are not currently included in the sale, but we would be prepared to discus this with any interested buyers. The sleeping accomodation is provided in three separate areas of the vessel. We currently choose to have the central "Pullman Dinette" area, permamently set up as our main bedroom, but this only takes a couple of minutes conversion, to make it into a Dinette again. There is a Dining area in the Front Living Room, that has an "L" shaped seating arrangement with its own large removable table. This can also be very quickly converted to an extremely comfortable Double Bed, in minutes. The third sleeping area, is situated to the rear of the vessel, in what is known as the Captains Cabin. This can be quickly converted, into either two single beds or into one very large Double Bed, stretching the full width of the vessel. The three areas described here, are also where we have the TV's installed. There are ample storage locations throughout the vessel, for all of your usual daily needs. There is of course, also a separate Toilet and Shower room with Wash Basin. The shower room has it's own Glass Partitioned shower cubical. We purchased a small portable petrol driven, Electric Generator for use whilst we were out on the canal, just in case we needed it, but it has never been used at all, except to turn it on to make sure that it worked, on the day that we bought it. We are happy to include that with the sale.We have had both a front "Cratch Awning" and rear collapsable "Pram Awning" made for and fitted to "Lunar Curreen", which enhances your living space, privacy, security and warmth. A large fitted Roof Box is also included in our offer to you. This beautifully appointed Narrowboat, that has been our joy to own, really has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Please feel free to contact us for any further details or information and especially if you wish to arrange a viewing. You really won't be disappointed.I am very short on pictures to post here and the quality of the ones from inside do leave a little to be desired, but a viewing will alleviate any concerns.Prefered method of payment would either be Cash or a Direct Bank Transfer. Either method, would allow us to hand over ownership papers and possession, immediately upon receipt or confirmation. Other methods of payment would likely delay any ownership transfer and possession, until payment was verified.
