This is a vintage 1958 Yellow Jacket Riviera Wood boat with the original 49 hp Mercury Mark 58 Super Thunderbolt outboard motor and original Tee Nee trailer. Very rare to find a vintage Yellow Jacket with the original motor and trailer!A restoration was performed by a previous owner several years ago, but don't know the exact year. Overall the boat is solid and in great condition but as mentioned there is some de-lamination on the top, front of the boat which we addressed and can be seen in the photos. The motor is the original motor purchased with the boat and runs great. Within the last 2 years, the motor has had a tune up, which included new impeller, new carb kit, needle and seat, fuel pump kit, spark plugs, outboard magneto cover, fuel filter and fuel lines, battery and battery box, and period correct gas tank. The original Tee Nee trailer is included. We have put new hubs, rims and tires on the trailer but will include the original hubs with the sale of the boat and trailer. When the boat and trailer were originally sold in 1958, a title was not issued for the trailer as it was not required to be licensed separate from the boat. The trailer is not currently titled in the state of Illinois as we had it on a private lake and did not go thru the process of obtaining a title. We did install safety chains and correct lights for the trailer, as required by Illinois Secretary of State. We were told that if we took photos of the trailer with these required additions and submitted them with required paperwork that a homemade trailer title could be issued. We did not do this as we had the boat on a private lake and did not transport it. The boat has a current Illinois watercraft registration. Please check your state's requirements regarding registration and titling of boat and trailer prior to bidding. THE TRAILER REQUIRES A 1-7/8" BALL TO TOW. PLEASE COME PREPARED. Please contact contact me with any questions or for additional photos prior to bidding. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!We will require a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 24 hours of the end of auction. The remainder must be paid via cash or cashier/bank check and the boat picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction.
