As boating season is coming to a close, I am selling my '87 Formula 242 SS. I bought her this past winter, but due to insufficient storage abilities and lack of free time, I need to sell it unfortunately. She's been a great boat, and will haul across the lake. I have more pictures than the ones posted so feel free to contact if you would like any more. It's a 24 foot (26 if you count the step board in the back) in LOA, fiberglass hull, I/O engine, which is a v-8 454 Mercruiser Alpha one drive. It has been a very dependable engine, as I've been in bigger boats with the same engine, so she'll get you to where you need to go. I bought it from the person before me for $13,000, and in much worse shape than it is now, but I need it gone unfortunately. It has 3 individual seats with a bench seat as shown in the pictures, and can seat 8 according to the manufacturer. Back seat hydraulically lifts to access engine. It sits on a 26 foot Load Rite trailer, it's a tandem trailer with rollers. Whats been done since I've owned it: -Oil change, with new filter. -Spark plugs - New impeller in lower unit, with housing assembly and everything. -New exhaust hoses, old rubber ones were falling apart and replaced with HVAC piping and heat resistant tape -New stereo with Jensen amp and Sony speakers, with an additional sub -Front left rim of trailer is brand new, and both front wheels of trailer have new bearings with fresh bearing grease, only launched with twice. -New trailer brake lights -New rear boat nav light Along with a couple rips in the back seat and along with a stuck trim gauge, she's in great condition for an 87. For what comes along with it: -Boat/trailer (obviously) -Two throwable devices (req. by Coast Guard) -Two air horns -Two blue bumpers for when docking -A lot of rope -Three propellers -A Garmin 431s gps/depth finder -Fuel tank of fuel upon purchase **If interested in looking at it in person, contact me and I'll send my personal email and we can work out a time, and work out any details outside of eBay. **Title is currently under lien, but will be cleared upon purchase. |
