We bought these units to run the 514 miles of the headwaters of the Mississippi River between Lake Itasca, MN and St. Paul, MN. We completed that 2 weeks ago and no longer have need of these boats. The auction is for one unit, but I would prefer to sell both of them. They are easy to operate with a single joy stick that electronically controls both the steering and the throttle. Powered by a Subaru 7hp single cylinder engine which drives a small jet turbine impeller. It weighs about 165 dry. Range is 60 miles on a 3 gal tank of regular gasoline. True speed with about 200 total payload is 10mph. They are fun and reliable. They are conversation starters. If were a fisherman and wanted to explore places that would not accommodate a large boat....this is the ticket. We paid just over $5000 each. We have some things that will go along with the units: electric sump pump, seat backs, dry container. The units have fitted covers for the engine compartment and the passenger compartments.
