Offered for Sale as Non Seaworthy - Handyman’s Project / Challenge to bring it back to the solid Classic Haines Hunter Standard. This vessel has been in the family (mainly in storage) for over forty years; hence it has rarely been used. Around ten years ago I decided to replace the upper flooring and the transom and hence the floor was removed, also to repair a grind hole in the Gelcoat….however I then lost interest in the project and the vessel has been in storage since then and the motor on its stand in my shed.   This is a “Project” for someone that has the time and knowledge to bring this Classic Haines back to life !!   ·        Solid galvanised Brooker single axle tilt trailer and winch with spare wheel, (not registered) ·        Chrysler 105 HP Outboard Motor (less than 100 hours Total Time) ·        Classic V15 Haines Hunter with two side mounted Stainless Steel fuel tanks (fuelled and vented from the respective gunnel). ·        One plastic AUX tank. ·        Box of Bits and Pieces: bolts, screws, Chrysler Outboard Workshop Manual, fibreglass matting, etc etc. ·        Two Front Seats (one illustrated) ·        Two Rear Seats (one illustrated) ·        Stainless Steel Swimmer Ladder (normally mounted on transom)August 21, 2016  In answer to "mj29810 and All:   Good Morning mj29810 and All........I can confirm that the Chrysler 105 HP motor was rotated by hand this morning with no effort at all. A few "squeaks" from the rubberised belt, but otherwise all was very free and easy....I did pre-lubricate the upper cylinder area with WD 40 spray to assist with minimising any metal on metal contact. (Photo attached).
I have also taken a 9.42 MB video of me turning the crank.....unfortunately I can't upload such a large file on E-Bay. If anyone wants to see the video please advise and I will try and get it to you.....I have a Drop Box Account to which I have just uploaded the video....perhaps that is an option.Cheers
