Up for sale is a 17' 1950 Higgins Sport Speedster. This boat opens up like a hot rod and rumbles like a harley! If you want to stand out of the crowd this is the boat for you. . Higgins boats were made from 1945-65 and only 250 are known to exist in total. I am selling this boat to start on a new project. Ive had the pleasure of owning this boat for 12 years and have had done alot to it. The engine and carb were overhauled in 2004, and all the wood was replaced or refinished in 2011. Of all the wood boats I have had this boat is by far the most reliable I have ever had. It has a 327 Fireball in it that never dissapoints. My next plan for the boat was to put in a bench seat, a new doghouse, and a side stripe decail. Also, to go with the boat is an original shifter brand new (impossible to find). The trailer also comes with sporting brand new tires and bearings. If you have any questions let me know. 15000 or make me a good offer and take it home, interesting trades are also welcome
