Sadly due to a change in circumstance we have to sell our lovely little Selway Power 14. We have had many fun times both inland and at sea. Built from plans using marine plywood and west system epoxy she has proven to be a sturdy and fast little boat. Fitted with a 40hp Suzuki 2 stroke with new prop and recent impeller. Back up engine is a mercury 7.5. Both come with fuel tanks & lines.The Suzuki has been powder coated and had stainless helicoils and fasteners used. Very recent prop too.
Inside the boat are bench seats and a locker up front which houses the battery. Electric bilge pump and nav lights, fuse box, battery isolator, kill switch and compass are all present and work as they should. The anchor will also be included and the fire extinguisher.
Finished in white and blue with stained and varnished decks 'Black Buck' has drawn much attention wherever she goes.
The trailer has been modified for the boat. It's very low to the ground so you can get in the water as soon as possible on the slipway. Fitted with waterproof LED lights all you need do is unstrap the boat, remove the number plate & fog light ( 2 nuts) and away you go. Tows easily and very stable. Recent winch also.
On the water on a calm day she can hit 30 knots and planes easily. She can also handle some waves, having been out many times on the North sea when fellow club members thought it too rough we went out anyway! I have not seen another for sale and info can be found in the selway fisher website. Becasue it's an unknown quantity I am open to sensible offers. I can also supply further photograph and videos even from this month - engines working and the vessel in action on the water.
