If you see this boat being advertised for £5800 anywhere IT IS A SCAM. A rare Maxi 100PS. SHE HAS TO GO SO SOMEONE WILL GET A BARGAIN. Ragtime of Rhu is a 34 ft Swedish sloop built in 1982. The hull is in good condition as is the 25 hp Volvo Penta engine (which is housed inside the table in the saloon and is running nicely - see photo). The teak interior has just been sanded and varnished and is looking good. The saloon is spacious enough for entertaining. The cockpit which seats up to 8 people is perfect for sailing in Scotland especially single-handed. A new cockpit canvas and sunroof has just been fitted and is ideal for bad weather. 
She has been set up with TWIN FORESTAYS/GENOAS (one is a self-tacker) and the deck has the self-tacking mechanism installed with all lines going into the cockpit. She has 3 cabins, 1 toilet. She can sleep up to 7. You will find it hard to source a Maxi 100Ps as there are so few about. There are a few Maxi 95s but they don't have the sugar-scoop rear step, the bowsprit or the cabin. (great for foul weather).
She is out of the water at Barcaldine Marine near Oban, Scotland should you wish to view her. Please contact me to arrange as I am approx 1 to 2 hours drive away dependent upon traffic.  Work that needs done. A few of the perspex windows have cracks. circa £40 each.  She has just been antifouled but a  touch of paint on the topsides will make her look good again.
